Many BC Lower Mainland churches have been offering ESL courses for many years whereas some churches are just beginning to form classes. Now, we have joined together in unity to seek ways to effectively serve the newsomers in our neighborhoods. No two programs are alike because the focus is on the needs of the students; however, the spirit of sincere friendship, hospitality and service is common for the hundreds of volunteers involved in church ESL programs.
